Returning from a photography week-end with friends which failed to provide us with anything but a bald sky, a storm system was approaching as we headed for home. While two in the party were adamant about getting home at a reasonable hour, the person driving the vehicle was just not going to miss out on what looked to be an amazing sunset. At the very last second, they quickly pulled off the main interstate to a dirt and gravel road and headed for a high spot. The sky was on FIRE!! Quickly and without a moment to spare, they grabbed their camera gear and set up to catch what was to become the highlight of the trip.
