Teresa Grove is an award-winning photographer whose work reflects both the vastness of her landscapes and the intimacy of light playing off the delicate movement of a hummingbird. Based in northeast Kansas near her beloved Flint Hills but raised near the ocean in northern California, Teresa has traveled the world capturing images of natural beauty and the human condition...from a fiddler playing the last song against a firewall of tall grass, to a lioness yawning in the Serengeti, to the rough texture of a worn cowboy boot. She carefully visualizes what her mind's eye wants to capture; and has the patience to wait for the perfect moment of light, movement or spontaneity, including at times, a little luck.
Her photographic art has appeared in Kansas Magazine, USA Today, and advertising for Applied Underwriters, The Leakey Collection, Asili, Beauty Business Magazine and Soft Surroundings. She was also named the Grand Prize Winner for Ranchland Trust of Kansas with her image, "Flames in the Flint Hills.
